I am fortunate enough to forge alongside one of the best bladesmiths, a two-time “Forged in Fire” champion, and one of my closest friends, Theo Nazz.

Over the past few years, Theo has expanded his forge from a small hallway in another business’s shop to his very own studio, conveniently located in Industry City.

At the shop you can find

  • Our beloved gas powered forges

  • Our grinders (Ruth Bader Grindsberg and Blue)

  • A state of the art kiln for thermocycling

  • A large quench tank to handle all blade lengths and shapes

  • An oven for tempering knives (propane torches for swords)

  • A hydraulic press

  • A steel roller

  • Handle material (exotic, hybrid, synthetic, stabilized)

  • All the hammers, tongs, files, sandpaper, and tools you could need

It is an absolute pleasure to spend my weekends at Theo’s forge working on my own projects, assisting fellow bladesmiths in the shop, or keeping an eye on students taking lessons.
